"Foxtrot" is celebrating the Earth Day
"Foxtrot" has joined the "green" initiatives as soon as in 2006 Ukraine has officially joined the United Nations Global Agreement and the "green movement.» beginning to grow up through the society.
The "Foxtrot" based his 10 principles of CSR, including environmental responsibility and environmental protection. In the summer of 2008, the Company signed the Declaration on the Protection of the Environment "GO GREEN", initiated by the UN Office in Ukraine. And in 2009 the "Foxtrot" had its own corporate environmental charity program "Green Office" as part of the business management philosophy.
3 years employees use an electronic document, electronic system to receive faxes through computers. They maximally use natural light, include "stand-by" and the auto-off office equipment after the end of the working day. In the head office were installed energy-saving light bulbs, eco-labels pasted that resemble the economical consumption of water, light and electricity. For three years the staff has transferred to the processing of more than 20 tonnes of waste paper, saved more than 300 trees, and the proceeds went to charity sponsored orphanages.
The "Foxtrot. Technique for Home” Network moves away from the use of plastic bags for packaging purchases. We switched to biodegradable counterparts manufactured with additive TDPA. The weight limit of these packets is the same as their predecessors, because the additive does not affect the strength of the package. And they are not more expensive than usual. There are plans to replace plastic bags in all 225 stores.
