Green office

By "Foxtrot" is actively involved in environmental issues of our time, minimizing the negative impact on the environment. Internal corporate rules due to mandatory ordering area adjacent to the shopping retailers holding, economical use of natural resources - water and electricity.

GK "Foxtrot" is a signatory to the UN Global Compact and the participant program initiated OON «Go Green», calling to unite the efforts of all sectors of society to transform Ukraine into a state with a high level of environmental consciousness.

Group of companies "Foxtrot" takes on a voluntary commitment to think globally and shows an example of how to act locally to solve global environmental problems. Following the chosen course and mission of the company, using the best of modern technology, using reasonable material resources, focusing on results and personal responsibility, GKF launches a "Green Office".

In 2020, the second phase of “Only forward-looking work here” rating was held. It is different from the first phase because of lockdown situation, in captivity of pandemic. That is why a major part of activities took part online. Actually, it was held with the slogan “sort, minimize, recycle!”.

So, the second phase of “Only forward-looking work here” rating was improved. There was made a rating group for communication simplification in Facebook. Well-known rating trees became electronic. To leaf points there were added apples. You need them for recording rating participants results. Corporative mailing “Forward-looking digest” got the new life with fresh rating news.

Despite all difficulties of pandemic year, there were held 7 eco-actions during the second phase of rating. There were 3 wastepaper collecting, 1 action “Live, Christmas tree!” and planting of trees that were saved from after-New Year terror “Grow, Christmas tree!”, 1 collecting of used masks, 1 collecting of plastic caps and “Home format of eco-responsibility” action. The last one was held online. Every participant sent to organizers photos of their own “green corner”. In most, it was photos with boxes of wastepaper, but some of them demonstrated separate trash collection and composting.

As a result, second phase rating demonstrated the next results:

• There were collected 110 kgs of plastic caps
• Collected more than 2 tons of wastepaper
• About 350 activists were brought to rating activities
• There was introduced collecting of medical masks in the head office
• On 20 May 2021, there was held rewarding of the “Only forward-looking work here” rating second phase winners.
