Digitization continues. Foxtrot integrated electronic checks into mobile banking
The retailer was the first among the sellers of household appliances and electronics in Ukraine to integrate the display of electronic checks in the mobile applications of partner banks
From now on, customers of the Foxtrot retail chain who used Monobank or Sportbank cards to pay for purchases will be able to save information about purchased goods directly in the mobile banking application. And if necessary, download the electronic check to your smartphone.
– The introduction of modern digital services is an integral factor for meeting the needs of the modern consumer. That is why the integration of electronic checks into mobile banking is the next step forward, which gives customers the opportunity to conveniently and efficiently manage their purchases, – Oleksiy Zozulya, CEO of the company, emphasized the importance of the innovation.
Accordingly, in just a few clicks, the client can find checks in mobile banking:
- Enter the monobank or sportbank application.
- Select a purchase in Foxtrot in the "History of operations" or "Transactions" section.
- Click on "Shopping list" or "Show in full".
The integration between Foxtrot and partner banks was made possible thanks to cooperation with the company Deeployalty, which provides advanced solutions in the field of digital transformation, and the partner service Checkbox, which at the end of 2020 ensured the retailer's transition to programmatic POS.
We will remind you that in 2020, Foxtrot was the first among large sellers of household and electronic appliances to introduce the use of software payment transaction recorders (STP) throughout the network and the issuance of electronic checks instead of paper ones. With the start of a full-scale war, business felt the benefits of using software cash registers the most. The company completely abandoned all 500+ classic cash registers, saving UAH 10 million in additional maintenance costs over 4 years. And also saved 914 km of cash register tape, thereby taking care of the environment.
