Foxtrot resumed operations of 105 stores and paid a tax advance to the budget of Ukraine

On March 17, the company announced that it had opened the maximum number of stores since the war began and additionally transferred UAH 5 million of tax to the state budget

«Comprehensive support of the country by business is one of the strategic factors of victory over the enemy, and despite the losses incurred from the war, we are well aware of this, – chairman of the board of founders of the Group of companies "Foxtrot" Hennadii Vykhodtsev, commented on the initiative. – The planning horizon today is extremely short, but the tax advance is one of Foxtrot’s first planned initiatives to support Ukraine's independence in this difficult time».

The company noted that now the retailer provides consumer’s demand in electronics necessary for the life of Ukrainians and the organization of effective defense of the country. As of March 17, the company has resumed operations of 105 Foxtrot stores operating in 75 cities and districts of Ukraine.


«Daily we study the situation in each region in order to find an opportunity to open as many stores as possible, keep jobs, implement the law on maintaining monthly income for employees who have become volunteers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine or participants in territorial defense, – Oleksii Zozulia, CEO of Foxtrot says. – Thus, together we close the rear of hostilities, support the Ukrainian economy, which feeds an independent Ukraine».

In addition to organizing economic activities, in wartime, the company organized systematic assistance to the defenders of independent Ukraine, issuing household appliances at the request of local governments, law enforcement agencies, volunteers, social institutions and public organizations. And the company has begun work on the arrangement of rooms for receiving refugees at Foxtrot facilities: in Lviv and Lutsk, the rooms have already received the first residents, in turn, opening in Chernivtsi and Uzhhorod.
