What is the power of the people? Knows young corrs and "Foxtrot"
In Kiev, were summed up the results of the International Festival of Children's and young people's journalism "Press the spring on the slopes of the Dnipro", with the participation of talented students from all regions of Ukraine and 10 countries.
The winners traditionally gathered on the basis of information and creative agency "Yong-press" in the Kiev Palace of Children and Youth. According to organizers, the festival of young media people gives the younger generation a great opportunity to be heard, to express their opinion; it is a great springboard for self-contemporary of creative youth.
- Theme XII «Press Spring" - "Power of my people", because young people - our driving force on them development depends of the future, - says head of information creative agency "Yong-Press" Hope Ilyuk. - I thank you all - young journalists, teachers, partners, because the theme of the festival is fully revealed, and the results are impressive - more than 1000 participants have sent in the nomination of the festival journalistic work in different genres about Ukrainians, create history of their country.
Participants competed in the categories: journalistic work, photos, a TV movie, a literary work, a social project, newspaper, online journalism and IT. Winners of the contest "Press Spring", according to tradition, were given crystal figurines "Press Spring" and diplomas from the organizers. Due to the alarming situation in the capital the organizers of the festival were limited to awarding participants in Kiev and region; other winners will receive certificates and surprises from the partners of the festival by mail.
- By supporting "Press the spring," we help talented children in the self-strengthening in creative personalities proactivity, patriotism, responsibility, - commented on the co-founder of the Group of companies "Foxtrot" Gennady Vykhodtsev. - After all, our youth - it is the power of our people!
Ahead of the winners part in the World Children's League of Nations and the possibility of preferential admission to higher educational institutions of the co-organizers. Also, the authors of the best works received vouchers and are already preparing for the International Festival of Children's and Youth Journalism at ICC "Artek-Carpathians", which starts in the Carpathian Mountains on 15 June.
