Tatyana Tsoi and Foxtrot group of companies organized a reading evening in pajamas for the National Reading Week

On December 22, with the support of the FOXTROT Group of companies, "#Reading in pajamas" took place – an initiative of the corporate secretary of the GKF, Ukrainian writer Tatiana Tsoi, spearheaded by the National Reading Week

Enlightener and volunteer Tatyana Tsoi invited her fans to join the first National Reading Week in the original format of family reading of the duology "I don’t care what people will say." In the evening, on Hanna's Christian holiday, with the help of the social network Facebook and the ZOOM platform, the writer gathered a circle of readers of her books. Admirers of modern Ukrainian literature read their favorite excerpts from " I don’t care what people will say", explaining how they affected them. The meeting turned out to be intimate and comfy.

– During his lifetime, my dad often came to me in Kyiv. He loved this city very much, but he was always indignant that "everyone speaks in Russian here." To which I replied: one day the time will come, – Tatyana Tsoi explains her position as an ambassador of the Ukrainian language. “Therefore, with my work, I also fulfill my parental testament, and I also do my best to make it fashionable to speak and read Ukrainian.

After "Reading" with Tatyana Tsoi, two contest lotteries took place. The first contest was announced a week before the meeting. Subscribers and friends of Tatyana Tsoi under a post on Facebook were asked to write what role the name Anna played in the life of the main character of the family saga. The prize is copies of the first and second books "I don’t care what people will say." Nadezhda Kaleniuk became the owner of the prizes. She lives in the village of Klepachi, Khmelnitsky region (Tatyana Tsoi's small homeland).

The participants of the second contest became those who had read their favorite excerpts from Tatiana Tsoi's books. The Random program chose Svetlana Godun as the winner, a librarian from the village of Ivankov, Kyiv region, where in September this year Tatiana Tsoi presented her own work on the All-Ukrainian Day of Librarians. It is the librarian Svetlana Godun who will receive the first copy of the sequel, "I don’t care what people will say," as soon as it goes out of print in 2022.

The initiative was supported by the GKF, because both books were published with the assistance of Gennadii Vykhodtsev, co-founder of the FOXTROT Group of companies, and the first presentations of the newly printed editions took place among colleagues.
