Foxtrot” cartoons went to Minsk
business partners at the social project “School of safety” – scouts from Ukrainian “School of safety” took 1st place at 11th International junior fire rescue conference, leaving behind 13 teams from around the world
Last week of July capital of Belorussia lived in a holiday spirit. Residents and guest of Minsk took part in celebration 160th anniversary of Belorussian fire department. Grand parade with participation of rescuers, bands march of rescue squad, volunteers, greetings from the deputy Prime Minister of Belorussia Anatoliy Kalinin, and from the Minister of Emergency Situations, concert at Park Gorkogo – all this points out high status of fire department in society. Нigh school seniors from Ukrainian Lyceum №208 - ginger group from Ukrainian “School of Safety” took part in celebration in Minsk. Children became winners of the 11th International junior fire rescue conference, dedicated to the Belorussian fire department anniversary.
- “School of safety” – is a strategic partner of our social project that helps promote safe behavior within children and teenagers. And we with all our heart congratulate winner, - said by founder of “Foxtrot” Gennadiy Vykhodtsev.
- Their leadership at a rally graces the whole movement of Ukrainian junior rescuers, and strengthens mutual social project. It lowers teenage ignorance in injury prevention, increasing healthier generation.
Alla Negrienko VDD “School of safety” in Belorussia says, “Result can be achieved only, if you have system that works within the trainings of competitors, their desire, ambitions to present high level of preparation, and of course the support of grownups. Huge help in organization and preparation of equipment was received from General Directorate of State Service of Ukraine of Emergency in Kiev. Also huge appreciation to “Foxtrot” for help since 2008.

Together with examples of study books that are used in Ukraine to learn children fire safety rules, Taratukhin also brought to Minsk cartoon “Fox & Trot to the rescue”, posters from 4 episodes “in case of fire!” Educational campaign created by “Foxtrot. Home appliances” as a part of social project “School of safety” under slogan “When it is safety – it is always comfortable”.
- Those cartoon were the only one presented at the exhibition organized by volunteer fire department of Belorussia, so you can be sure that you know how just acquired international status, - says Vadim Anatolievich with the smile. - Just in 2013 I had about 100 classes with children from Kiev and regions, and I can say that cartoons from “Foxtrot” are liked equally by children and their parents. Also support of high school seniors from “School of safety” – it is the tight investment and true legacy from social responsible business.
