“GoldenAutumn” in “Foxtrot”
September 28th Kiev met young dancers from different parts of the country. It was the tournament in sport dancing “Golden Autumn 2013”. Competitions, which are supported by “Foxtrot” from past 9 years, pleased with the results: in key categories dancers from Kiev leaded. It means that Kiev is ready for the dancing season, and set pace of the development of dance in our country.
To compete for the prize on the floor BFK “Dinamo” were ready 192 competitors from 40 Kiev clubs. Zaporozhya, Kharkov, Odessa, Lugansk, Sumy. Nice costumes, fitted dancers, bewitching “pa” under the enchanting sounds of music created an atmosphere of celebration of sports dance and at the same time complicated the work of the jury. Pares showed their master class in standard dances (Viennese waltz, tango, foxtrot, and quickstep) and Latin (samba, rumba, cha-cha-cha, pasodoble, jive).
- Our “Golden Autumn”, despite the cold weather outside the window, stood out to be really warm, and the grades were worthily high, - Valentina Fedorchyuk, competition organizer, head of sport dance judge association in Ukraine, Ukrainian coach, director of dance school “Sport-Dance” said.
- We thank all competitors of “Golden Autumn” for the right tone and high standard bar. But, special thanks to co-sponsors “Foxtrot” Gennagiy Vykhodtsev and Valeriy Makovetskiy. Their tenderness strengthens the development of dance sport in Ukraine and annually best dancers spinning in foxtrot, “spark off” with the sounds of salsa and rumba in October’s “Golden Autumn”, and last days of winter on International Dance Competition “Hope Parade”
