“Foxtrot”: Family has to be!

Cooperation with international fond “Child village SOS” and “Foxtrot” gave results, which brought resources to ensure six month operation of “Loving home for child”.

Leading retailer together with their costumers strengthens hope for comfort and coziness in Ukrainian children, which lost their family. “Foxtrot” support social project “Child village SOS” in Kiev, Brovary and Lugansk. The focus is the development of a child in a happy family environment. Funds collected by staff and customers of “Foxtrot” go to provide charitable work of the project in the next six months. Partnership will continue, because 96,000 children in Ukraine are orphans. Annually number increases by 17,000.

In order to change situation “Foxtrot” actively involved in the implementation of programs, strengthening the biological family crisis and helping the psychological development of the child. Together with “Child village SOS” project support created foster families and family-type children’s homes for orphans and children deprived of parental care, in which the forms of education through family created conditions as close to home as possible.  

- The uniqueness of this project is that not only it works with orphans, but also with parents, - said by Elena Milovanova, PR manager “Foxtrot. Home appliances”. -  We're working to prevent child abandonment, as well as the reintegration of orphans to their biological families. In usual practice, only 10% of boarding normally arranged in life, after the programs of the “Child village SOS” 95% of children become successful in life.
