Foxtrot paid UAH 700 million in taxes for 9 months of 2024
The company summed up the main results of the 3rd quarter in terms of turnover growth, network development and implementation of social initiatives
At the beginning of November, the retailer reported that during the last quarter (August-October 2024) it increased the amount of taxes paid by UAH 269 million, and in just 9 months – UAH 700.5 million, which is almost a quarter more than the total amount for the previous year.
An increase of +20% was recorded in the turnover compared to the same period in 2023. In terms of traffic to the site, a growth trend is observed (+21%).
Taking into account seasonality (long abnormal heat) and the demand for alternative power sources, the main drivers of sales in the third quarter were the following product groups (compared to the same period last year):
- charging stations (an increase of almost 10 times);
- air conditioners (+141%) and fans (+135%).
During the third quarter, Foxtrot presented 3 updated stores. The renovation was carried out in the chain's stores in Bila Tserkva (Hermes shopping center), Sambor and Odesa (City Center shopping center). The key changes affected the replacement of trade equipment, placement of goods, lighting, interior decoration with elements of "embroidery". It is also time for the retailer to implement barrier-free solutions and inclusive retail spaces in new and renovated stores.
In the context of the latter, Foxtrot introduced a modern solution for hearing-impaired customers – the integration of DEAF ID (a unique electronic ID of a deaf person) into the FoxFan loyalty program.
The retailer continues to provide regular direct assistance to units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. First of all, reinforcement of airborne assault and anti-aircraft missile units, which perform combat tasks in the "hottest" areas of the front, air defense soldiers, as well as fellow defenders from #rotyFoxtrot. The total amount already reaches more than UAH 40.5 million.
"The most important thing that every manager is guided by today is the development of his company and the support of the state and its defenders. These are key and complementary things. Business works, scales, creates jobs, pays taxes. An axiom for peacetime and a foundation for the preservation of the state now. There is still a lot of work and various quests ahead. But we will definitely cope with all the challenges, because we are all working for the same goal," concluded Oleksiy Zozulya, CEO of the Foxtrot company.
We will remind you that in September 2024 the company successfully celebrated its 30th anniversary and launched the communication concept "WANT?" – a new approach to shopping, which simplifies the process of choosing products, helps buyers quickly find the equipment that best meets their wishes and expectations.
