Frontline Kherson and Mykolaiv reinforced with working "Foxtrot"

After a long break due to the constant shelling of these frontline cities, the company decided to resume operations. The main factor is the high consumer demand for this assortment in the retailer's online sales in the southern region

On May 18, for the first time since the beginning of the full-scale war, Foxtrot reopened its third store in Mykolaiv at 14 Korabeliv Avenue (Depo't shopping center). It had not received visitors for more than a year, as it was the closest to the war zone among the chain's stores in the city (at 259/1 Tsentralnyi Ave. and 27B/1 Tsentralnyi Ave.) and had been shelled more than once.

In April 2023, it was renovated and opened as an online ordering point. From now on, one of the southern flagships will "hold the front" in a full-fledged format.

The residents of the heroic city of Kherson are also in for good news, as Foxtrot at 26 Ushakova Ave. will reopen its doors on May 20. This store, together with Kherson residents, withstood 255 days of occupation by Russian troops without suffering significant damage or looting, and was one of the first to open after the city was liberated in November 2022. But a month later, due to the increased level of danger, the company was forced to close it.

– We monitor the situation in each region on a daily basis and understand that we are very much needed here, in the frontline cities, so that people who have survived the occupation or decided to return home can feel that their lives are continuing, and have the opportunity to buy not only the essentials but also modern appliances and gadgets that will be useful in everyday life and leisure. This is eloquently evidenced by our online sales, particularly in Kherson, which occupies the top positions here. This means that there is a demand for this assortment, and our task is to satisfy it by offering our customers the best possible services. The readiness of our staff, who expressed a desire to be close to customers, also played an important role," said Oleksiiy Zozulya, CEO of Foxtrot.

The store in Kherson will operate as a point of delivery and processing of online orders from 9.00 to 15.00 every day. This format provides customers with the opportunity to get professional advice, a personalized offer, place and pick up online orders directly in the store, at operating Nova Poshta branches and post offices, or with targeted delivery. The store also has a shelter in case of new enemy attacks.

The next step is to reopen another store in the city of Nikopol. Currently, it operates as an online order pickup point, and from June 1, it will be ready to meet customers in the usual format.

In total, as of mid-May 2023, Foxtrot operates in 63 cities, represented by 112 stores and 1 delivery point.
