Photo hunt for hydrants and safety rules

Rescuers of Zaporizhzhia held an interesting training event, and Foxtrot Group helped and awarded the authors of the best photos

In May, the winners of the Photo with Hydrant quest were awarded. The day before, Zaporizhzhia ended a safety quest in which residents and guests of Zaporizhzhia had to find 1 of 100 hydrants by taking a photo. The organizers were the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Zaporizhzhia Oblast and the Tourist Information Center of Zaporizhzhia. The goal was to combine a walk around the hometown with a safety activity. Rescuers awarded the authors of the photos that won the photo quest. The winners received special backpacks from the Rescue Service, which contain essentials, a first aid kit, and self-rescue equipment in case of an emergency. Foxtrot Group provided its gifts as part of the Safety School social project.

"We have supported our long-standing social partners – the team of Zaporizhzhia rescuers who save civilians from the consequences of war every day. And the competition has become an interesting form of teaching people the intricacies of rescuers' work, which inspires everyone who sees the results of their work," says Gennadiiy Vykhodtsev, Chairman of the Board of Founders of the Foxtrot Group of Companie.

In 2022, as part of the Safety School social project, Foxtrot Group supported 10 educational events of the SES on safety during the war, which were attended by more than 5000 children. During the war, the Foxtrot retailer began broadcasting 2 videos from the SES and Unicef about the danger of explosive devices in its salesrooms (more than 100,000 impressions per month across all of its stores).

The history of friendship and partnership between Foxtrot and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine began in 2008. As part of the partnership, the Safety School social project of the GCF has been systematically conducting safety lessons and creativity festivals for 15 years to prevent children from being injured in accidents in the non-production sector, creating the Fox and Trot rush to the rescue animated series, developing leaflets "Do the right thing in case of fire!" and thematic posters for students.
