Foxtrot will make 70% of its stores energy independent

The company has set itself the goal of providing more than two-thirds of the chain's operating stores with autonomous sources of electricity

Already now, part of the trading points are equipped with generators, which makes it possible to organize gadget charging centers and free wi-fi in them, in addition to the usual functionality. This is, in particular, in such regional centers as Kyiv, Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Ivano-Frankivsk, Mykolaiv, Lviv, Odesa, as well as in small cities – in Irpen, Berdychev, Kremenchug, Pryluky, Konotop, etc.

– Massive enemy shelling, power outages are challenge for all market participants. But at the same уtime, the economy and business must work, providing the basic needs of buyers. That is why we are adapting to today's challenges in order to organize uninterrupted operation of the network even in conditions of temporary blackouts, – said Oleksiy Zozulya, CEO Foxtrot.

For the rest of the network, charging stations, UPS equipment, additional lamps powered by power banks, etc. were purchased.

In general, since the beginning of intensive shelling of the energy infrastructure of Ukraine, Foxtrot's investments in the energy independence of stores have amounted to about 4 million hryvnias. As the CEO added, this is a necessary step for the further development of the network, which makes it possible to organize the full operation of all services.

Also, the business successfully tested the launch of Starlink satellite Internet at one of the capital's stores, and is already using it at work. Currently, the company is developing a list of stores where the mobile Internet disappears with the light, for the additional installation of such equipment there.

In addition, together with the Arricano company, the retailer participated in the creation of ENERGY SPACE with convenient areas for work and recreation in the shopping center "RayON" and the shopping center "Prospekt" (Kyiv). Foxtrot also helped to set up "Points of Invincibility" in Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv and Kherson based on the fire and rescue units of the state emergency service of these three regions.

As of the end of the year, the Foxtrot network has 114 stores in 65 cities and the Foxtrot.ua online store.
