10 years of eco-tandem: Foxtrot group of companies supported students of the "Green Institute of Journalism" of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv
From April 17 to April 27, 2021, with the support of Foxtrot Group, the EcoInstitute online charity auction will be held by students of the Institute of Journalism of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv as part of the Green Institute volunteer educational project. The auction will take place on the Green Institute's official Instagram page
Students are preparing this online activity in honour of the anniversary of the "Green Institute of Journalism" project. For 10 years, they have organized eco-parties, charity fairs, waste paper collection, and planting of trees. The raised funds were spent for charity. Gifts have been sent to children from a boarding school in the Kyiv region, University graduates from the ATO have been provided with support. Animal shelters have also been provided with material support.
Despite the quarantine conditions, 2021 was no exception in the environmental activities of students of the Institute of Journalism.
The anniversary will not be celebrated for the sake of the date, it is just another reason to draw the attention of young people to the problem and the options of its solution. The focus of 2021 is the minimization of household use and proper disposal of plastic bags and plastic.
"The jubilee team of the Green Institute has not been stopped by online life," shared the details of organizing the auction Maria Mykhailyk, student of the Institute of Journalism of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and the project's image-maker. "We are preparing the EcoInstitute online charity auction. The eco-products brands cooleco.store, honey_mommy_ecoshop, tatik_papik.shop, lera_foodhunter, as well as a consistent partner of the Green Institute, the Foxtrot Group of Companies, have already joined the project."
Let us remind you that the Foxtrot Group of Companies has been running the Green Office project within the framework of the UN Global Compact for 11 years already. And the School of Safety Project for the prevention of child injuries has been implemented for 12 years. These projects have been repeatedly noted by the international jury at the competitions of social projects of the CSR Development Center (2014, 2015 and 2019).
