Foxtrot: our customers will not have restrictions in watching TVs Samsung

The other day, the press service of Samsung Electronics Ukraine explained that the restrictions on work can only apply to those smart TVs that are released for use in other states or regions. “Blocking is not quite the right word,” Samsung noted, “since the use of Smart Hub/Smart TV in televisions from regions/countries for which they are not intended was not possible before due to technical restrictions and license agreements.


However, the companies that imported such devices, by changing the factory settings through the service (engineering) menu (which is closed to users) and the so-called “flashing”, changed the initial technical parameters of the devices set by the manufacturer. That is, initially in such devices, Smart Hub/Smart TV was not available in countries for which the device was not manufactured.”

In this situation, the buyers of the Foxtrot distribution network are protected from such risks, since all the TVs represented there are manufactured for Ukraine and officially imported by Samsung Electronics Ukraine Company LLC for distribution in our country.
